Star Wars
I have been a fan of the original trilogy since childhood, but after a shaky start, the 3rd and final installment of the new trilogy hooked me just as completely.
The Beatles
Oh yes. I've loved these guys for ages, but it was only recently that I discovered the interesting things that an imaginative mind can do with them. :)
Star Trek - The Next Generation
I loved the original series, but it was the new series from the 80's and 90's that really grabbed my attention.
The Magnificent Seven
This is a pretty new fandom for me, and one of the only ones I can claim was actually originally started by...my parents! I'd never seen this film until they invited me to watch it during one of my visits up home. Normally I have never been a fan of old westerns, but this one just had something....something....
A little sidenote...almost all of the fanfic about this fandom revolves around the television series that was based on the film. Now, I've never seen the TV series, but the film has verrrry interesting possibilities. Watch it. You'll see what I mean.
